Paul has 32 years experience in the IT industry as an end-user, vendor, reseller and distributor. Pauls experience is extensive, from Layer 1 through to 7 while striving to get the best from Layer 8.
Paul is an Associate Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) and a member of the Institute of Directors (NZ).
Director of Security
With over 16 years experience in the information technology security sector and a further 6 years working in financial institutions, Kyle is an expert in security frameworks and compliance. He has provided governance & compliance advice on standards such as Security in the Government Sector (SIGS), The New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) and Payment Card Industry Digital Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Kyle has extensive knowledge of international and local government security standards and practices and has worked with a number of government departments, agencies and ministries providing security consultancy, reviews and assessments.
Kyle has led teams working on security audits, peer reviews and security architecture of some of New Zealand’s largest banks, and during his time as a PCI QSA Kyle has performed assessment work in New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Guam and the United Kingdom.
In 2014, Confide was appointed to the All of Government Security Services Panel and fulfilled the role of acting Chief Information Officer at a government agency.
